| In 1963, Antenna Research
Associates, Inc. (ARA) started as an engineering and product
development company with an initial focus
to develop extremely broadband and electrically small antennas
for SIGINT and COMINT applications. Our focus in the field
of electromagnetics and broadband antennas led to the development
of individually calibrated antennas and test equipment for
TEMPEST and EMC testing. From antennas, electromagnetics
and EMC testing, the company expanded its role into RF subsystems
for communication and ECM/ECCM applications.
For over forty years, ARA
has maintained a leadership role in RF, antenna systems and
related technologies, through the development of new
concepts and products. Engineers at ARA have received
over 50 patents for unique antennas.
Today, ARA offers over 40 years of experience in
developing leading edge products, and in providing
value-added services in three technology
areas: Electromagnetics, Positioning and Composites.
